The concept of I Like Comedy came from Patrick C. Taylor, an application developer and comedy lover, when he learned of the API that allows for the easy integration of online videos from YouTube into web applications.

"Creating this website was a no-brainer! When I learned of the API and created some test scripts, my love for comedy took over and the framework for I Like Comedy began.."

I Like Comedy is free to everyone, and offers membership to surfers for the purpose of providing a personalized online experience. Members can rate videos, write comments and tag videos as personal favorites. Video content is updated daily and presented in an easy to navigate layout, fashioned after the YouTube website.

Within a week of launch, the website has generated over a thousand page views and unique visitor hits.
