Arlene O. Wilhelm named COO of MIT Holdings Inc.

(SAVANNAH) Arlene O. Wilhelm has been named Chief Operating Officer of MIT Holdings Inc., a Savannah company known throughout the community and the Southeast for providing quality and professional service in the healthcare industry. In 1990 she co-founded Medical Infusion Technologies and is an owner of the company.

Wilhelm was Vice President of Clinical Services and Secretary of the Board of Medical Infusion Technologies Inc. She also co-founded Home Medical Equipment and MIT Ambulatory Care Centers, both divisions of MIT Holdings Inc.

She has been in the medical field since 1974. She was a certified surgical technician, surgical nurse and ER nurse at Memorial and Candler. She also was a nurse in an obstetricians-gynecologists practice and a plastic surgery practice.

Wilhelm received an ADN from Armstrong. She also received CST training from Memorial. She is a member of the Infusion Nurses Association and the National Home Infusion Association.

Established in 1990, Medical Infusion Technologies Inc. grew quickly through service contracts with local hospitals that established a history of excellence in the field of infusion. With the addition of home medical equipment to its line of expertise, the company, now MIT Holdings, Inc., became nationally known.
