PHYLLIS DILLER ENDORSES NEW BOOK

Need a laughter break? Then "Hugs, Hope, and Peanut Butter"is the book for you. Even Phyllis Diller thinks so!

The queen of comedy says "Hugs, Hope, and Peanut Butter" is "totally charming." Diller sent a hand-written note to author Marsha Jordan after reading her book of inspirational, humorous essays.

The book's been receiving rave reviews from across the country, but Jordan was especially excited about hearing from Diller. "I've always been a huge fan of her's!" she said. "My writing is similar in style to her self-deprecating humor."

Though her book has won two awards and received positive reviews in numerous publications, Jordan says an endorsement from Phyllis Diller tops them all. "It was an exciting surprise to hear from Phyllis Diller," she said. "I consider her a legend." Jordan feels especially grateful that Diller was able to read her book, since she just turned 90 years old this month. "Who knows how much longer she might be around," said Jordan.

The humorous book of inspirational essays, illustrated with 40 heart warming drawings by critically ill children, was written by Marsha Jordan, creator of the HUGS and HOPE Foundation for Sick Children ( www.hugsandhope.org ), and it's been receiving rave reviews.
