Originally in Manhattan on 19th Street off Fifth Avenue, Mayo Studios – America’s Home Furnishings Photographer - designs, creates, and photographs room settings for major retail catalogs & bedding manufacturers.

The Studio, founded by the late Lou Mayo and his wife Elizabeth and now run by his son Mark and daughter-in-law Sandy, has been creating and photographing your bedrooms, your living room, your kitchen and even your bathroom for a half century.

The Studio's first expansion was to Tenth Ave in Manhattan, and at the turn of the century they made the move across the East River settling into their new home, 30,000 square feet of studio and office space at the foot of the Midtown Tunnel, in Long Island City.

Mayo Studios' work has appeared in JC Penney Catalogs for almost as many years as the studio has been in business.

Over the years they have worked with Bloomingdales, Croscill, Fortunoff, WestPoint Stevens, Springs, Tommy Hilfiger Home, and many other higher-end brand names with their work appearing on packaging, in newspaper and magazine advertisements, and direct mail catalogs.

In addition to traditional film photography, the studio has facilities for full service digital photography, graphic design and layout and is capable of delivering print-ready images.
