RALEIGH, N.C. – A July 19 kick-off event was held at WakeMed Health Park from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. to plan the Speaking of Women’s Health daylong conference in Raleigh. Sponsor representatives, steering committee members, prospective sponsors, key community leaders, and media attended the morning reception to discuss assignments, preparations and planning for the upcoming conference. Sponsorship opportunities, ticket sales, programming, keynote speaker roundup, honoree selections, décor, promotion and publicity were discussed. The Speaking of Women’s Health conference will be held December 9 at the North Raleigh Hilton from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“I was eager to start planning the Speaking of Women’s Health conference,” said Erika Mangrum, president of Iatria Day Spa and a co-chair of the event’s executive committee. “Proper organization for this conference is necessary to ensure that all goes well on December 9.”
