IndyWest Harley-Davidson HOG Chapter hosts their first Ride for MDA

Hundreds of motorcycle enthusiasts throughout Indianapolis will gather to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. On Saturday, July 29 IndyWest Harley-Davidson HOG Chapter will host their first Ride for MDA at Metropolis Mall, 2499 Futura Park Way in Plainfield. All motorcycle types and brands are welcome to participate.

The 80-mile police escorted bike ride will leave Metropolis Mall at 2 p.m. and return around 5 p.m. A minimum donation of $25 per rider and $25 per passenger is required to participate. Event registration will include a ride pin and meal courtesy of Claddugh Irish Pub. For every $100 raised the participant will be entered into a drawing to win a $400 leather coat and many other great prizes.

Registration will be held the day of the ride from 9a.m. -11a.m. at the Harley-Davidson dealership at 6201 Cambridge Way with breakfast provided by The Coachman and from 11 a.m.-1p.m. at Metropolis Mall.

The public is invited to enjoy live musical entertainment from Dog Talk at noon, Duke Tomato at 1:30pm and Cynthia Layne at 3:30pm, cheer on the bikers and have a chance to win raffles and giveaways throughout the event. Claddugh will also have food and drinks available for purchase on site.
