Bound Off aspires to showcase work that is compelling and driven by narrative, with a force that keeps the listener listening. The editors of Bound Off are dedicated to publishing stories by both the established and emerging writer.

Bound Off is seeking original literary fiction for their upcoming podcasts. Please send stories that are between 250 and 2500 words long. Although Bound Off is an audio publication, the editors will evaluate manuscripts the old-fashioned way.

Bound Off's team of readers and podcast engineers will produce the audio version of your story. If you have the capability to create a high-quality MP3 file, then Bound Off could publish your story with you as the reader. (Although Bound Off's aim is to give authors the chance to read their own work, audio quality is a high priority, so the editors reserve the right to make all final audio production decisions.)

The editors of Bound Off are not considering the following types of writing: non-fiction or personal essays, poetry, or stories for children.

Bound Off allows simultaneous submissions, but let the editors know immediately if another publication accepts your story. Please wait until the editors have responded before sending another story for consideration.

Bound Off compensates writers $20 per accepted story.

Stories submitted to Bound Off must be original and previously unpublished in any form.
