Los Angeles, Calif. — Creating music scores for television, motion pictures, and commercials is the passion of three composers who combined their extensive skills to form SyncMasters.

"SyncMasters is able to create emotional and visually-dimensional compositions, not only because of our combined experience, but also due to our state-of the-art studio equipment and software," said Dig Lewis, composer. "We can record live Pro Audio with AD/DA converters and provide reels or sound clips in all contemporary formats."

Their hi-tech systems include: Pro Tools, Digital Performer, Logic Pro, Giga Studio, Apple G5's, Demeter mic-pre's and compressors, Soundtrax consoles, various Roland and Yamaha synthesizers, along with numerous samplers and extensive sound libraries. Their website at http://www.SyncMasters.net offers additional information about their work.

"Marrying the music to the complex emotions of each individual scene is what we are all about," said composer Paul Bolotin.

Bolotin and Lewis collaborate with a highly skilled associate — Rick King.

"As a team," Bolotin said, "we create inspiring and creative scores that reflect the emotional nuances of films, commercials and television shows."

Recent credits include The Oprah Winfrey Show, National Geographic, as well as commercials for the Pepsi-Cola Company, and Levi’s.

Lewis, named one of the top Bass players in the nation by Downbeat and Bass Player magazines, has worked as a studio musician and toured extensively with major performing artists such as Stevie Wonder, George Benson, and John Mellencamp.

As time wore on, Lewis became more interested in his "true love"— composing — both electronically and live.

"I enjoy making film scores come to life," Lewis explained. "Our studio has allowed that desire to become a reality."

King brings to the table the experience of travel and several film projects with Stan Ridgway, and Larry Spangler. He has traveled extensively through Japan and has the distinction of co-writing "Surrender my Soul," which won several prestigious awards in the United Kingdom.

"I lived in Japan for one year while playing and studying Gagaku, the traditional music of the Japanese royal court," King explained. "During that time, I continued to develop my guitar skills and worked with artists as varied as Tina Marie, Roy Hay, Ed Quintella, Christine McVie, and Steve Reid. This eventually led me to real my passion — composing. Our new studio has provided me with the advanced tools that I need."
