July 26, 2006 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
Nypro Inc, one of the worlds leading manufacturers of injection mould parts, is to close its facility in Wrexham, England following a restructuring of its business.

SHM Smith Hodgkinson, the leading international plant and machinery consultant has been appointed as its agent to sell the surplus machinery and assets from its Wrexham site.

The Europe-wide sale by auction will take place on 7th September at the Wrexham site and will be broadcast live and interactive over the Internet. Items in the auction include an excellent range of injection moulding machinery and supplementary equipment.

Ian Maycock, director, SHM Smith Hodgkinson comments: “This will be a rare opportunity to acquire high-quality injection moulding machines and ancillary equipment from this prestigious manufacturer. What is unusual about the equipment is that it has been operated in a clean room environment”

Other items at the auction include heaters, hot runner controllers granulators, robots, dryers and hoppers.

Items in the sale can be viewed at the Nypro plant in Wrexham between 10:00 and 16:00 on Wednesday 6th September and from 9:00 on the morning of the sale. The auction will start at 11:00 on Thursday 7th September.
