Chicago, IL—To help the church deal connect with the tough issues prevalent in the inner-city, TastyFaith.com has created TUFF LIKE ME—Reproducible Bible Lesson Pages for Inner-City Kids. This new lesson series deals with hardcore topics such as bullying, gangs, blended families, anger, being a foster kid, as well as other tuff issues. The lessons remind kids their faith in God can make them tuff, to help them deal with crazy stuff.

The reproducible lessons are the new volume of TastyFaith’s Shortie Pages for Inner-city Kids. Shortie Paged are designed to help with reading and writing skills while teaching biblical principals. Shortie Pages are great for home-work clubs, tutoring program and other outreach programs in urban areas.
TastyFaith founder Ginger Sinsabaugh MacDonald, has been a volunteer urban youth worker for over 20 years at various Christian organizations in Chicago. She realized that there is a lack of Christian resources dealing with tough issues widespread in urban areas. “Let’s get real. Urban youth are today’s trend-setters, from music to fashion and even values. Yet, we haven’t made them a priority. If we reach city kids for Christ, they will reach the rest.”

Tuff Like Me is just one of the resources TastyFaith.com has for urban youth ministry. Tuff Like Me is ideal for city kids aged 8-12, but can work with ages a bit older and younger. A free sample will be available at TastyFaith.com.

The website also has resources dealing with topics such as broken homes, blended families, STDs, teen moms, incarceration, and other tough issues traditional Christian publishers may not address. TastyFaith.com was created in 2002 and is located in Chicago.
