LOUISVILLE, Kentucky; – AccessLouisville.com, a community website and local business search engine, announces its launch in the Louisville area.

In response to the 170 million Americans using the internet and the 4 billion searches performed monthly on national search engines such as Google, MSN and Yahoo; AccessLouisville.com has been launched. An interactive community search portal, it’s more than just an informational piece on the city of Louisville.

“We found through research that of the 4 billion searches being performed monthly on the major search engines, 30% of the searches are for local products and services;” says Jon Eisnaugle, president of Access: LocalNet, inc; the parent company of AccessLouisville.com. “We list all businesses for free on our site, and then geo-target our search, starting at the epicenter of the city. Therefore, if you are in Louisville, and you are searching for a dentist, only the local dentists will pop up. Also included is a map with directions and all pertinent information on that particular company.”

“We also found that many businesses were in need of ‘untangling the web’. Many Business owners do not have the time or know how to generate information concerning their business on the World Wide Web. We make it affordable to be a part of the web, and at the same time create a steady stream of new customers,” adds Eisnaugle.

The community portal is an informative and interactive site. It updates local, regional and national news reports hourly; offers social and business calendars, dining and
Entertainment guides; discussion forums and editorials. Members also enjoy unique privileges such as contests and give aways, free classified listings, and discounted shopping on the E-store, which gives back 10% of all purchases to local non-profit groups.
