TERCA BEATS THE BLUES

Produced using advanced manufacturing techniques; Terca’s ‘best blue’ facing brick has a very smooth, clean finish and is suitable for a range of contemporary architecture.

“Blue bricks are often used for high specification projects, so their quality and finish is scrutinised very carefully,” says David Simpson, national sales director at Terca.

“Some manufacturing processes can result in a bubbled surface effect, but we have developed techniques that ensure a very crisp and clean appearance to meet the highest architectural requirements.

“We anticipate that this brick will be specified by architects for a variety of one-off design projects as well as public buildings.”

The launch of Terca’s ‘best blue smooth’ facing brick is the latest move by the company to strengthen its presence in the architectural market. In May, Terca announced the appointment of Alan Gordon as specification manager, responsible for promoting Terca’s full product range to specifiers throughout London and the South East.
