(Hoboken, NJ) Summer normally moves at a slower pace in Hoboken. The bars are less crowded, your favorite restaurant lacks the normal wait, and there is a good chance you’ll find parking within 3 blocks of your home. But on August 19th there will be 50-100 extra women in the city, ready for a “phony” night out.

New Jersey Young Professionals will be sponsoring a “Phony Bachelorette Party”. Never heard of this concept? Well, it is new to NJYP as the organization simply made it up. Basically what will happen is complete strangers will come together to party as if their good friends are about to get married. Overall, it is an excuse and an inside joke all rolled into one.

For this particular party there will be 3-6 Bachelorettes. Their job will be to spend the evening pretending to the public that they are indeed getting married. The “friends” will be there to play the usual party games and make sure the “bachelorettes” have a great time.

The evening will begin at Bar Nine in Hoboken where everyone will enjoy light appetizers and cocktails while meeting and greeting. From there the group will travel to 3 Forty Grill where the games and the “acting” will really begin.

Tickets to this event are available online at www.NJYP.org or by emailing info@njyp.org. Sorry boys, this event is for the girls only!
