She has authored four books about wine, and her feature articles on wine have appeared in Vogue, Parade Magazine, Decanter, GQ, Food & Wine, SAVEUR, The Wine Spectator, House & Garden and numerous other publications. Ensrud is regularly invited to judge at all the major wine competitions across the United States. She is also a wine educator who currently teaches in the short course program at Duke University. Ray and Eleanor Heald began writing about wine as a team in the 1970s. For the past 15 years they have written for Michigan consumers via their weekly column syndicated by Gannett.
