Affinity Shopper, the power behind 4Rcharity, 4Rchurch, 4Rclub, 4Rsynagogue, 4Rschool, and malls4free, has announced their plan of new developments to simplify and enhance the online shopping process.

The service, which recently received an over 90% approval rating by users for ease of use to raise their own private capital, will be implementing a “product search” facility in coming months logging over 3 million products and services. The tool will enable shoppers to not only search for products by retailer category, but also by actual name returning a list of matching products and their corresponding retailers from across a network of almost 1,000 merchants.

With £80 billion of consumer spending either on, or influenced, by the Internet according to web store trade body IMRG, the new service will simplify the searching process for value products for speedier online purchases.

“Figures show that online shoppers are increasing year on year, and this is something we are proactively responding to,” explained operations director for Affinity Shopper, Philip Price. “The product search facility allows shoppers to immediately identify the what, where, and how much questions they have when searching for an item, allowing them to make quick and informed decisions on purchases when shopping through a mall.”

In further developments, Affinity Shopper will also be launching a classified ads service allowing shoppers and mall owners to place classified ads within their mall. This will enable users to promote local events, such as car boot sales, bazaars, or place personal ads, and also post details about handicraft items or themed products related to the mall.

Like the traditional shop notice board, the mall owner has full control over the ads placed.

The service is expected to be an extremely useful community communications tool, with the added functionality of ads being displayed globally across the entire Affinity Shopper mall network. Should the user wish those outside of the mall community to know about or respond to a classified ad, the option exists for the ad to be placed in malls across the country to reach new communities and supporters.

An entirely free service, like Affinity Shopper itself, the facility to post classified ads is anticipated to further drive online sales and affiliate fundraising to support the network’s growing number of malls being used by over 400 charitable and community causes, as well as private enterprises.
