February 13, 2005 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
This highly-integrated next-generation test development and integration environment offers benefits to developers and Q/A departments - from telecom carriers, equipment and semiconductor manufacturers, research and standards organizations, right through to testing departments from various other technology companies, who seek to develop and implement test-suites faster and more effectively.

The tightly integrated environment with modules such as a TTCN-3 core language editor, a TTCN-3 to Java compiler and an embedded test-management offers various innovations. For example, context specific syntax highlighting, easy navigation within the code, the immediate validation of test specifications, filtering of logging events, online and offline logging, test data views with analysis support for validity, and easy integration of external codecs via the standardized control interface.

"We are proud to bring the power of TTCN-3 to the Eclipse community, allowing users of our tools to develop complex test solutions, cover current and maintain open for future requirements, features and standards," said Stephan Pietsch, CTO and head of development at Testing Technologies. "This combination of best-of-breed technology and tight integration allows test developers to use and tailor a familiar and widely accepted programming environment depending on their needs".

Testing Technologies, a spin-off of Fraunhofer FOKUS research institute, develops and markets universal and high innovative test development tool series and solutions based on the standardized test specification and implementation language TTCN-3.
