“Michael Jackson’s case is very different from that of R&B star R. Kelly”, says Terence McPhaul. As a Mental Health Therapist and Personal Advisor to the Stars, McPhaul is author of “The Celebrity Psyche” and “The Psychology of Hip Hop”.

McPhaul notes, “while Michael appears to understand that his relationships with children are inappropriate, also it is likely that these relationships are not of a sexual nature.”

McPhaul, who has appeared as a Mental Health expert for Court TV and Bill
O’Reilly’s The O’Reilly Factor, believes that Michael Jackson suffers from Bi-Polar Disorder, and that “Jackson uses his closeness to children as a substitute for the therapy in which he should be engaged.” Citing that Jackson tends to surround himself with children after a bout of severe Depression-on the cusp of Mania.

McPhaul, a former Hazardous Materials Chemist, is known for his direct and
unyielding demeanor. His assessments of celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey, R. Kelly, Britney Spears, Halle Berry, Jennifer Lopez and Sean “P. Diddy” Combs continue to haunt and inspire the entertainment community.

Referencing McPhaul’s earlier book, “The Celebrity Psyche”, McPhaul believes that it has been years since Michael Jackson has been “surrounded by those who would espouse the truth at any cost.” Moreover, McPhaul vehemently asserts that Jackson’s goliath power (which is re-affirmed during his periods of Mania) is contributing to his ultimate demise.
