Numberstore cabs hit The Smoke

London, 09 August 2006 - Today saw the launch of Numberstore's latest outdoor promotional campaign as bright green Numberstore taxis take to streets of London.

The cabs carry a simple message: 0800 321 3000 - What's your number?

Zimo selected Leighton Media for the taxi design and Cabvert Media Solutions, the UK's largest independent taxi advertiser, to implement the campaign. In addition to the colourful livery, which carries a clear message about the importance of memorable numbers, further information about the wide range of Numberstore intelligent number services is conveyed on the back of the tip up seats inside the cabs and on the customer receipt slips.

Zimo's CEO, Kieron James said, "The idea to run an outdoor advertising campaign was sparked following conversations with two of our own clients who run taxi firms in Glasgow and Leeds. In their line of work, highly memorable numbers are critical and advertising their 0800 numbers on their own vehicles got us thinking about ways in which we could promote memorable telephone numbers and Numberstore's range of intelligent call management services."

Cabvert's arguments were compelling: In London more than 60% of people said they notice taxi advertisements and cabs are frequently in and out of busy and important locations. The advertisements can be seen by pedestrians and drivers alike so we've even included rooftop messages which can be read from the top deck of a bus or from an office window when the taxi is stationary.

Text "numbers" and your email address to 62299 and we'll instantly email further information about Numberstore services and currently available memorable 0800 and 0845 numbers," added James.

Zimo is planning to introduce more Numberstore cabs outside London in the autumn, in Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds.
