A new website that tackles the problem of Bad Tenants

Tenants can be a landlord or letting agent's nightmare, when it comes to their potential for destruction. Mr Basra writes about how one of his tenants "caused over £4,000 of damages to his property" in one night.

After 25 years as a Landlord, Mr Basra has become fed up with being at the mercy of any new tenant, a tenant who may be moving from property to property and causing trouble, so he has decided to put an end to it by creating a website that tackles just that sort of problem.

http://www.badtenants.co.uk is a system whereby Landlords and Letting Agents across the country can collaborate and create a nationwide database of tenants who have caused them serious trouble during their tenancy. A yearly registration fee of £5 is all that is required to have access to this resource.

Landlords and Letting Agents can then go onto the system, search for tenants already on the system, or add any tenants that they have had the misfortune of dealing with.

By providing a way for landlords and letting agents to create a nationwide database of tenants with whom they have had issues, it makes these tenants think twice before duping another landlord out of thousands of pounds of his or her money, and would allow Landlords and Letting Agents to sleep soundly at night, knowing that their tenants are not bad tenants.

Please note, this website is only available to Landlords and Letting Agents in the United Kingdom.

The website address again, is:
