RJAH 38 06 Orthopaedic hospital receives DIY donation from Focus

The nationwide hardware and gardening store, Focus DIY, have donated sealants and fillers worth about £3,500 to the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt orthopaedic hospital.

Paul Beardmore, estates manager, and Terry Lewis, building services team leader at Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt orthopaedic hospital, went to the Oswestry DIY store to receive the donation.

The mixture of equipment, including wood and poly fillers, will be used by the hospital in vital repair and maintenance work, such as, re-sealing bathroom fittings and windowsills.

Paul Beardmore said: “We are delighted that Focus DIY thought of the orthopaedic hospital to donate the equipment to and are extremely grateful. We are keen to build and strengthen relationships with local businesses and hope to continue this in the future.”
