Honorary Director Of Delta Waterfowl Foundation
Ragsdale Liggett Managing Partner Honored By
Private Non-Profit Research Organization

RALEIGH, N.C. – Ragsdale Liggett PLLC has announced that Frank R. Liggett III, managing partner and founder of the firm, has been named honorary director of the Delta Waterfowl Foundation, a North American leader in waterfowl ecology and waterfowling. As a private non-profit organization, Delta supports graduate student research on the ecology and management of waterfowl and wetlands, funding research projects on wetland food webs, plant succession, seed dispersal, remote sensing and moist-soil management.

Liggett, who focuses his practice on corporate and insurance regulatory law, has filled other leadership positions in the fields of the natural sciences and wildlife conservation, including serving as chairman of the board of trustees of the North Carolina Natural History Society (now Friends of the North Carolina State Museum of Natural Sciences), the board of directors of the North Carolina Wildlife Federation and as chairman of the Raleigh area committee of Ducks Unlimited, Inc., which he helped organize in 1967.
