Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic and District Hospital NHS Trust continues to support proposals to build a £30 million healthcare complex in Oswestry.

The Trust, which is currently home to the town’s Minor Injuries Unit and Maternity Unit, is working with Oswestry Borough Council and Shropshire Primary Care Trust (PCT) to secure a smooth transition of services to the state-of-the-art centre.

Jane Cox, assistant chief executive at the orthopaedic hospital, said: “We will continue to work with partners at the council and the PCT so that patients in Oswestry and the immediate surrounding area receive health services in the most appropriate and accessible place.”
