Pray4u website brings prayer to your google home page!

‘We think that this is a world first,’ said spokesman for pray4u.co.uk, Jonathan Powell. ‘Google gadgets are a new phenomenon and have never been used for Christian purposes before. It is great to be at the forefront of using the internet for God.’

The pray4u website has prayers submitted to it every day from people who do not know God and are often desperate. ‘We advertise where people who are suicidal and depressed might look and hope to bring a knowledge of Jesus and the comfort of prayer to them,’ Jonathan added.

Every day the prayers are emailed to a subscriber list who pray for the people who have submitted prayers. But now using the pray4u google gadget prayers can be displayed directly on a user’s google homepage. ‘This allows people to be prayed for as soon as they submit a prayer. Their prayer will still be emailed to all our prayer warriors, but this is another, more immediate means of getting prayer where it is needed.’
