NORWALK BRITISH DART LEAGUE SPONSORS TOURNAMENT TO BENEFIT MDA

NORWALK, CONN. August 19, 2006 — The Norwalk British Dart League will sponsor a charity dart tournament to benefit the Fairfield County office of the Muscular Dystrophy Association. On Sunday, August 20, participants will compete in the Tournament, held at The Eagles Club Aerie 588, 7 Mott Avenue in Norwalk.

Registration will begin at 11 a.m. with events starting at 12 noon. Blind draw doubles events and singles events are pre-scheduled, with more events if time permits. Winners will be awarded trophies. The tournament will also feature food, raffles, and a cash bar.

The League is asking that participants make a minimum donation of $20 for all events. All proceeds will go towards supporting the Fairfield County MDA in its continuing efforts against neuromuscular disease. This is the first year for the tournament, which hopes to raise between $3,000 and $5,000.
