(FULLERTON, CA) PAC MIN experienced notable growth in sales activity last year, and is poised for continued steady growth in 2005, its management announced Wednesday. Sales in 2004 rose nearly 40% over the previous year. The increase is attributed to resurgent spending by its aviation and aerospace customers and the diversification of PAC MIN’s portfolio of products and services.

The Fullerton-based company, which is the world’s leading producer of scale models for the aviation industry, is seeing strong growth from foreign and domestic airlines and airframe manufacturers. Increased defense spending and the growing popularity of private jet ownerships have also contributed to the company’s performance.

In business since 1946 and formerly known as Pacific Miniatures, the privately owned company has met increased demand by providing its customers with a wide range of products and services it terms “visually dynamic.” In addition to the scale models that form the core of its business, the company offers one-of-a-kind, full-scale and engineering models, promotional materials, commemorative awards, custom fine art prints, website design, and creative content for marketing campaigns.

A diverse list of customers throughout the U.S., Europe, Asia and the Middle East, together with the company’s expanded product line, provide PAC MIN with resilience to potential market variations. President Fred Ouweleen said Wednesday, “Diversification offers us exciting new opportunities while providing our customers with a unique and more effective marketing partner.”
