BRIDGEWATER, N.J.—August 24, 2006— F+W Publications, Inc., in partnership with WebApps, Inc., has announced the launch of NumisMaster.com, the most-comprehensive online subscription service for the Numismatics marketplace. The unveiling, at the World’s Fair of Money presented by the American Numismatic Association (ANA), gave consumers and dealers the first look at NumisMaster.com, including special features like real-time access to pricing data and a suite of online tools.

Krause Publications, owned by F+W Publications, Inc., has a rich fifty-year history of publishing books and magazines for collectors. “Our customers, collectors and dealers, are looking for up-to-the-minute information on pricing and availability. By partnering with WebApps, Inc., we are able to utilize our decades of archival material—and current information from our expert editors and authors—to create the ultimate tool for the numismatics category,” said Kevin Isaacson, Associate Group Publisher. “NumisMaster.com is sure to become the online source for collectors.” Within the numismatics category, the Company’s properties include Coins Magazine, Coin Prices, World Coin News, Numismatic News, Bank Note Reporter, and the annual Standard Catalog pricing series.

A strategic alliance with WebApps allows F+W to extend their market reach and bring valuable content online. “As information about collectibles becomes more accessible, dynamic changes in pricing data can be more accurately reflected. This provides collectors with more confidence regarding information on availability, condition, and pricing of each item they own or desire to own”, commented Daniil Fishteyn, Chief Technology Officer for WebApps and an avid coin collector. “Dealers are able to more quickly adapt to the changing needs of the market and gain more insight into buying behavior.”

Both collector and dealer information is being stored in one of the only commercially available data centers built to what is known as the Department of Defense (DOD) standards for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility, ensuring the continuation of F+W’s expert reputation. Based on the NumisMaster.com model, WebApps and F+W are exploring other joint ventures.

About WebApps
WebApps specializes in delivering Software as a Service (SaaS). The SaaS model is predicated on a one-to-many or multi-client deployment, whereby an application is shared across customers. This centralized approach towards code management reduces implementation, training, and ongoing support time while minimizing business risk for service providers. Consumers benefit from single-source accountability that typically leads to shortened learning curves and greater user acceptance. Software features are easily expanded or scaled back, making it easier to support a variety of size and industry specific customers with a single platform.
