Video Streaming Company Mydeo in line for a top business technology award

Mydeo, the video streaming company, is delighted to have made the finals of the Start Up Awards 2006. Mydeo was selected from over 450 entries and is now a finalist competing in the ‘Best Use of Technology Awards’ sponsored by Blackberry.

The awards, which are backed by NatWest and include Blackberry, Sage and others as high profile sponsors, recognises and rewards best business startups. Only those companies demonstrating originality in thinking by providing innovative services and demonstrating a high-degree of customer
satisfaction get through to the finals.

The finals of the 2006 Start-up Awards are the latest in a round of successes for the innovative video streaming company. They were recently named as a ‘Start-up to watch’ by Real Business magazine and, following negotiations with Microsoft, became Europe’s first and only Movie Maker 2 video hosting partner.

Mydeo allows users to upload and globally stream videos to friends, family or potential customers without surrendering their ownership rights, or exposing their personal footage to the vast gaze of the internet community.
