Streaming Video Site MotionFlicks.com Annouces Its Acquisition

North Andover (Aug 30, 2006) - MotionFlicks™ announces its new owners Parag Tandon and Arsh Mehrotra. Building off existing relationships with customers and partners, new management hopes to make the site the central destination for high quality streaming video. In addition to hosting a variety of content, Motionflicks.com will differentiate itself by providing tangential film-related services to independent filmmakers, producers and others in the film industry.

With approximately 3,000 users in less than one year, MotionFlicks.com has grown quickly in popularity due to the quality of its content and services. As shown by Viacom’s acquisitions of IFILM and Atom Films and the growth of YouTube and Google Video, streaming video has become a growth industry which experts believe will be the new medium for content delivery in the years to come.

About the New Management
Arsh Mehrotra and Parag Tandon bought MotionFlicks.com to grow it as a web based distributor of streaming videos for short independent films. Arsh Mehrotra is host and producer of Aap Ka Manoranjan, a weekly television show entertaining the South Asians in America for last 20 years. Parag Tandon is an entrepreneur, a technologist and an MBA from Babson College.
