1-2-1VIEW Unveils Ultra Light Weight Ninja Digital Signage Media Player at IBC

[HONG KONG, 29 August 2006] Turnkey digital signage system provider 1-2-1VIEW Corporation is unveiling its new line of ultra light weight Ninja digital media players at IBC in Amsterdam from 8 – 12 September.

The Ninja N106 will be the lightest and most cost effective digital signage media player available in the market, weighting just 370 grams, with measurements of 18.8cm x 13cm x 7.3cm.

The Ninja owes its light weight to its IP set-top box technology which also makes the player low cost both in terms of ownership and operation.

IP network controlled, built on open standards such as Linux OS and based on consumer electronics, the Ninja is scalable across an infinite number of screens at diverse locations.

With less power consumption, more reliable operation and faster boot up times, the Ninja offers key operational and cost advantages over commonly used PC based digital signage systems,

The player has flexible four-way mounting options to accommodate any deployment scenario, even in small or hard to access areas.

With no moving parts, very low heat dissipation and fanless operation, the Ninja is ideal for deployments with stringent fire regulations or where noise is an issue.

The Ninja N106 is fully compatible with 1-2-1VIEW’s one-click-to go web based Media Management software which provides scheduling, tracking and monitoring capabilities such as volume, switch On/Off and others remotely at a mouse click.

The new Ninja is the latest addition to 1-2-1VIEW’s extensive portfolio of network-controlled media players which offer solutions for any digital signage application. It is the companion player to the Samurai Media Player which features an in-built motion activated personal monitor.
