First China India Supply Chain Forum Successfully Launched in Shanghai

CHINDIA Forum 2006 successfully concluded last week with raves from attendees about the interaction with senior supply chain executives, the diversity and relevance of sessions and the take-home knowledge that they received.

"Let me welcome you all & inaugurate the CHINDIA Forum, as you all know 2006 is the friendship year for China & India…. In the end I leave it up to all you Gentleman and Ladies to discuss the various topics related to India & China in the Supply Chain Domain; I am sure that you all shall learn a lot from today’s conference", were the wordings of Mr. Vishnu Prakash, Consul General, The Consulate General of India, in Shanghai who honored China Supply Chain Council by being the guest of honor for CHINDIA Forum.

Delegates enjoyed a broad range of presentations and debates which covered all major supply chain disciplines, allowing them to share ideas and explore new models and tools. In particular, local case studies that demonstrated application of best practices in supply chain in India were very well received.
