PLEASANT PRAIRIE, WI – Cherry Electrical Products has expanded its line of SPOS and RC Series keyboards to meet the specific needs of grocery and convenience store applications. Completely customizable, the new models allow users to develop new key layouts using a variety of keycap colors, sizes and configurations to meet their specific needs. They can also duplicate an existing layout to ease transition to a new system.

Cherry’s SPOS and RC Series keyboards feature compact footprints, ideal for grocery and c-store applications with limited counter space. Both Series are available with or without a magnetic stripe reader, with the SPOS Series also featuring an integrated touchpad option and an IP54 spill and dust resistant keypad. The customized keycaps ease new hire training, which is vital to companies with high job turnover. The use of pre-printed, market-specific keycap kits makes future changes easy and affordable. Their durable construction is capable of standing up to the most rigorous 24/7 application requirements and are backed by a three year warranty.

Cherry RC Series keyboards feature a PS/2 daisy chain. Both models feature plug-and-play configuration for all common POS features. They come with ‘Cherry Tools’ virtual programming software, which offers unique function enhancement and allows for quick product set-up and program configuration. SPOS models offer remote programming, ideal for chain stores with multiple locations. Cherry also provides comprehensive UPOS support for Windows and Linux.

Cherry SPOS and RC Series keyboards are available from stock through distribution. For more detailed information, contact Cherry Electrical Products, 11200 88th Avenue, Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158. Tel: 262.942.6500. Web: www.cherrycorp.com. E-mail: keyboardsupport@cherrycorp.com.
