Local Restaurant Event Manager Joins the Wild Women Entrepreneurs’ as Area City Leader

Boston (September 13, 2006) –Wild Women Entrepreneurs (Wild WE) announced today that Stephanie O’Connell has been appointed Boston city leader.

“The mission of the Wild Women Entrepreneurs is to have women taking care of business on their own terms. These women are fearless, fun and fabulous. They are able to take the risks needed to be the Wild Women they are without compromise,” says Ja-Naé Duane, president and founder of Wild Women Entrepreneurs. “Stephanie emulates that everyday in her personal and professional life and will be a great asset and role model in helping the Boston-area women of Wild WE to reach their fullest potential.”

“I became a city leader because of the outstanding purpose and great enthusiasm of Wild WE and the existing members and city leaders,” says O’Connell. “I hope to create opportunities for women to connect and share ideas while they enjoy a fun evening out in Boston.”

O’Connell, a Watertown, MA resident, is the event coordinator and manager for Union Street Restaurant and The Attic Bar in Newton Center, MA (www.unionst.com). She plans and hosts a variety of events ranging from corporate gatherings to wedding receptions and book signings.

O’Connell attended Plymouth State College in New Hampshire where she studied music, performance flute, and writing.
