"We found there are not many sites that actually promote abstinence," says founder Debra Kennard, "so we created a site for those who support abstinence". Kennard notes there are numerous sites that support alternative lifestyles but none that she found with the alternative choice to what before marriage to have sex.

The site has been steadily growing. "We found that two or more members per day were signing up when we first announced the site earlier this year. We are improving our site on a weekly basis and it will soon have a new look," Kennard states.

The site is offering a free 3-month membership to the first 50 people who sign up but the normal price is very reasonable at $10 per month, compared to other sites that cost $30-$60 per month. "We want to create a place for people of like minds to find each other, not to have a cash machine. This is why we also do not have automatic renewal. We do not exist to just get members but to help a subculture of adults have comfortable relationships where the foundation of the relationship is already agreed to and understood."
The site has the basic features of emailing members, posting pictures, buddy lists, who has viewed me list, and survey polls.
