John Travolta gets behind Tsunami relief

John Travolta fans are bidding to get their hands on the chaps he wore in Urban Cowboy - a honky-tonk classic country romance. the chaps are available on the Celebrity Auction at http://www.somethingcanbedone.com

Travolta played Bud in Urban Cowboy, a Southern boy two-stepping his way through life. He won the hearts of the fans who adored him in Grease once again.

Travolta autographed the chaps and donated them to the celebrity auction that aims to raise funds for relief workers in the tsunami hit areas.

The Volunteer Ministers (VMs) of the Churches of Scientology have been recognized for their disaster relief work at Ground Zero after 9/11 and other disaster areas around the world.

The VMs were among the first relief workers to arrive in the tsunami hit areas. Many have been working in Indonesia and Ceylon since the end of December. More VMs leave to help the residents of the area each day.

Mant other celebrities have opened their hearts to help raise funds for these volunteers

The Celebrity Auction offers walk-on roles and memorabilia from hit TV shows like JAG and CSI:Miami as well as signed items form many sytarts and artists.
