Omega World Travel Expands into American Southwest Corporate Travel Market after Experiencing Robust Regional Sales Growth

Fairfax, Va., September 20, 2006 – Travel management company Omega World Travel, with recent increased activity at the Salt Lake City customer service center, is further expanding their sales force by naming Wayne Childs Regional Sales Manager for the Western U.S.

“With the recent acquisition of major corporate clients in Silicon Valley and other areas of California, we’re ecstatic that someone with Wayne’s industry experience and knowledge of the region is joining our sales team,” said Gloria Bohan, President and CEO of Omega World Travel. “We are gaining new business in the Southwest and Wayne will bring a valuable presence to our sales efforts there.”

With over 20 years in the field, Wayne Childs offers a wide range of expertise in the corporate travel management arena. Most recently he has been an industry consultant providing support on strategic sourcing, and hotel and travel agency contracting requirements for several major multinational clients.

Childs will be instrumental in propelling Omega Travel’s growth in the region by providing the organization’s vast travel management resources and quality customer service to local corporate clients. Childs will primarily focus on new business development.

Childs previously was Regional Director of Corporate Sales for Sol Melia Hotels and Resorts in the Western U.S. Prior to that he was Area Director of Sales for three Holiday Inn hotels, and has also worked with the Hyatt and Hilton hotel chains.

Childs is certified as a Travel Counselor, and last year gained certification as a Corporate Travel Executive from the Conrad Hilton College of Hotel Management, at the University of Houston.
