An annual International essay contest honoring the hardest working women on earth: mothers.
Our panel of judges will choose ten semi-finalists to be announced on Friday, April 22, 2005 the final round of voting will take place on Monday, April 25, 2005.
The mother of the winning essay writer will receive a one-of-a-kind handbag valued at $450.00 custom designed and hand stitched, by internationally renowned Parisian designer, Jennifer Marvin.

WHEN:

Essays must be received by email no latter than
Monday, April 18, 2005.
The first round of voting will take place on April 19th-April 21st.
Semi-finalists will be announced and contacted by email on Friday, April 22nd.
The final round of voting will take place on Monday, April 25th and the winner will be contacted by email on that day.
The winner will not be formally announced until Mothers Day, April 8th, we don’t want to spoil the surprise!

ABOUT JENNIFER MARVIN:

Jennifer Marvin is an American born Parisian fashion designer who grew up in the mountains of Colorado passing wintry days at a sewing machine under the guidance of her mother. Jennifer’s passion for creating and manipulating fabrics into wearable art took her from her family’s Colorado ranch to London and finally to Paris where she now considers home. Her work has been published in British Vogue magazine, sold on the most fashionable street in Paris and auctioned for charities such as “Seeds of Peace” in New York City and “The committee for Missing Children International”
