Former Square D Facility Renamed EastPoint
Knightdale Manufacturing Facility Renamed EastPoint
KNIGHTDALE, N.C. – Brian Farmer, vice president of commercial leasing at Coldwell Banker Commercial TradeMark Properties and leasing agent for EastPoint has announced that the former Square D manufacturing facility, located in Knightdale has been renamed EastPoint. The name change follows the purchase of the facility from the Square D Corporation by local and national investors. The 60 acre property which contains 411,595 square feet of office laboratory, and manufacturing facilities, will be redeveloped to allow for various commercial and retail operations.
“This property is ideally located and has unlimited potential,” said Farmer. “It was important that we change the name to reflect our vision for the future because EastPoint will be an important component of development in Eastern Wake County.”
About EastPoint:
EastPoint, formerly the Square D Manufacturing facility, is located on U.S. 64 Knightdale Boulevard in Knightdale, N.C. The facility was originally constructed in 1972, and then expanded in 1988. The 411,595 square foot property has laboratory space in its manufacturing facility, class A executive office space, and over 750 tons of HVAC in the manufacturing area. The facility is accessible from the ground by U.S. 64 and I-540, is 30 minutes away from I-95, and is 20 miles from Raleigh-Durham International Airport.
