MILWAUKEE (October 3, 2006) – Metrix, Inc., a global leader in service management and mobile field service software and services, today announced a new subscription-based pricing model for Mobile Techlink, a mobile field service solution.

The subscription pricing will charge users a set amount per user, per month. The pricing doesn’t require a large up-front investment like many software installations and maintenance and support are included in the pricing. Initially, new users of Mobile Techlink will sign up for 12-months of service and go month-to-month after that point.

“We feel that our new Mobile Techlink pricing model takes many of the worries out of making a commitment to a new software product,” said Larry Laux, president and founder of Metrix. “Users will know exactly how much they will be paying each month and will avoid the large up-front investments that typically come with enterprise software installations. In addition, they don’t need to worry about hidden maintenance and support costs since these are included in the price.”

Mobile Techlink is a robust field service automation solution that provides real-time, direct connectivity between hand-held communication devices and any mix of enterprise applications. The solution combines best practices in field service and field force automation with state-of-the-art technology to create a “best of breed” solution.
