Daphne, AL, United States, – The Stardust hotel and casino, owned by Boyd gaming, has granted Rayna Gangi, author of “Forget The Cures, Find The Cause,” her wish. She will have the only book signing to ever take place in the Stardust lobby on October 7, 2006. Gangi is a member of the Chairman’s Club, which is having its final formal dinner on that date.

“I’ve been a part of the Stardust for almost forty years,” says Gangi. “They have always been a home away from home. I feel very special being the only author in its history to have a book signing there. For me, it’s an historical event.”

Gangi’s book is an engaging discourse on alternative health practices, which encompasses many popular therapies, including reflexology, massage, iridology, chakras and Native American earth medicine. Her internet podcasts on holistic health have a global listening audience of more than 300,000 and that audience is still growing.

Holistic and alternative health are regaining popularity and many people are confused at the many different therapies and modalities. Gangi also incorporates the history of western medicine and its connection to the church and state.

"People need to learn that they can take charge of their health," she says. ”Understanding your body, mind, and spirit is essential to healthy balance. Gambling can raise the spirits, if you win. But people shouldn't gamble with their lives by leaving their health in someone else's hands."

“The Stardust will close November 1,” says Gangi. "It has always been a landmark with a fascinating history. Now my book and my readers can be a part of that history.”
