Cubanoson Cuban Orchestra - Pianist Papo Ortega and his NY Metropolitan Orchestra now featured in over 100 websites and their debut CD - “Recordando A Cuba” is now available for digital download.

In just three months after New York’s Metropolitan Orchestra, Cubanoson, released their debut CD - “Recordando A Cuba,” the CD has been featured in over 100 Internet pages and editorials. The orchestra’s website www.cubanoson.com has had over 2000 hits and as of this month, Cubanoson’s debut CD, “Recordando A Cuba” has been distributed for digital download through several digital media providers, including Itunes.

New York’s Metropolitan Orchestra, Cubanoson released their debut CD. “Recordando A Cuba” in July of this year. Following the CD release, the orchestra’s leader “Papo Ortega” states he has received hundreds of e-mails from around the world. “I couldn’t believe the response,” Papo says, “Cubanoson and the CD began appearing on sites in Italy, Germany, South America, Canada and Asia, I couldn’t believe it. When I googled the orchestra name, Cubanoson, I kept finding more and more pages, selling the CD, Djs placing songs on their playlists and others just writing about the music and for that I want to thank all that have supported and promoted our music.” Papo’s Cubanoson Orchestra was featured this past summer at the gala event for the NJ Cuban Day Parade, and at the Union City NJ Summer Festival. In December the orchestra will be featured at a Cuban Christmas show in New Jersey, details will be made available over the next few weeks.Stay tuned!
