SINGAPORE, 12 OCTOBER, 2006: The Logistics & Supply Chain Management Society is at the forefront of facilitating professional development opportunities and recognition for Logistics professionals. Innovation in Logistics strategy and technology is driving dramatic change right across the supply chain. Over the past few years, there have been more advances in the industry than at any time in history – and there’s no sign of a change any time soon.

Another industry first that is being run for the second year in a row, The Logistics & Supply Chain Management Society Awards are being conducted this year in close collaboration with eyefortransport - the world’s leading provider of Logistics and Transportation information and services.

The awards, which are given on a regional basis with Logisticians throughout Asia and the (Middle East), give other Societies, Associations and organisations an opportunity to collaborate in a wider programme of industry and professional development.
