Robin Russell Leatherman, a WWII patriot, authored a compelling book, In The Shadow of Breast Cancer. This is based on a true story of Leatherman as he witnessed first hand the tribulation of Maria, his wife of 50 years, from breast cancer. This is an open and honest account of a family’s journey following a cancer diagnosis.

Leatherman narrates and discusses the fears he harbored for himself, his wife and his children during this time of agony. He envisioned his story to be a vessel of hope to others who need encouragement during the darkest hours of their lives.

The time to take disease prevention seriously is now, especially if you are a woman with a family history of breast cancer. In The Shadow of Breast Cancer offers guidance in the war against cancer. One out of every eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime; now this revolutionary health maintenance and disease prevention guide addresses women's concerns on breast cancer with warmth and candor.
