The JetCon-1301F is the only product tested by Beckhoff which meets their stringent standards. Beckhoff’s EtherCAT is capable of updating 256 DIO channels within 11μs (11 millionths of a second), 200 analogue IO channels within 50μs @ 20Hz, 100 servo-axis within 100μs. Most fibre media converters introduce too much “jitter” leading to possible timeouts and data loss. The JetCon-1301F can handle the data rates with zero jitter.
