October 20, 2006 (PRLEAP.COM) Technology News
PANDUIT is holding a series of “Technology Update” seminars on “Service Provision to the Workplace” – the process of planning, implementing and documenting the IT move process i.e. routing services from network devices to the user/location.

Updates will take place at several venues around the UK and are open to everyone responsible for the smooth running and servicing of IT networks.

Martin Ashton, Regional Business Director for Panduit said “We are excited about this Networking Roadmap Seminar series which will run throughout 2007, covering top of mind issues for networking professionals. The first Technology Update will help delegates understand how network management tools can be utilised to increase the speed of moves and changes, improve accuracy and automate record keeping.” The Update will advise about how to leverage the potential of existing network management and helpdesk systems and gain control of valuable network assets thereby improving the network SLA & KPI management.

The leading systems have become known more appropriately as ‘Intelligent Infrastructure Management Systems’ (IIMS) and with good cause. Of the many improvements, Service Provisioning is the most important advancement – allowing safe and easy management of the most complex infrastructures dispersed across the globe.
