The novel is currently in nationwide promotion and has received interest from over 20 countries around the world – tipping it to be a major international literary hit.

The celebratory signing event is to take place at the Waterstone’s store in the Exchange Centre and will start at 12 noon. Guests will receive a complimentary glass of champagne and will also be able to pick up a signed copy of the acclaimed novel.

Salt & Honey offers the reader a rare glimpse into an endangered culture. Miller wrote the epic and moving story following ten-years of research including an expedition to the Kalahari Desert in southern Africa where she temporarily lived with one of the San tribes.

Miller commented: “I'm looking forward to being on hand to talk about the book and meet some of its future readers – I feel humbled and hugely excited by the success that Salt & Honey is becoming.”

Tom Chalmers, Managing Director of publisher Legend Press, added: “With Salt & Honey on its way to being an international success, it promises to be an excellent event. The story of how the novel itself came about is fascinating and the signing offers a great opportunity to meet Candi in person.”
