HOMER, well of course you know the name, but we’re not talking about everyone’s favourite cartoon moron here, we’re talking about the guitar playing moron playing and singing around S.E. QLD for the past 10 years. The Homer experience is one not to be missed. A wide variety of music including rock, country, old stuff, new stuff, the works. Just cross Bon Jovi, with Queen, add a little Garth Brooks and then throw in some Screaming Jets and Eddie and the Cruisers and you’re somewhere in the ball park. Expect the unexpected, but expect to have a good time, and bring your friends, coz Homer needs all the friends he can get.
How does one describe the ‘Homer’ experience. Well, possible a little like his website that he threw together himself. You’re not quite sure if he knows what he’s doing, but you can tell he’s having a good time. (And you’re asking if he designed it himself, why is he writing in the third person???)

But in a word, it’s guitar, singing, carrying on, fun entertainment.

So take a mix of the charisma of Robbie Williams, Frank Sinatra and Freddie Mercury, throw in some wide eyed humility of Garth Brooks, and a ‘reach for the stars’ attitude of Jon Bon Jovi and that’s the mix Homer is striving for. (And always failing to hit, haha).

This site is just a way for people to find me….oops, Homer, if they need to, To complain about his incessant rambling on at gigs, to, heaven forbid, book him for a party or event, or to accuse him of fathering their children, (honestly, we only talked !!).

The song you are hearing is my…oops, Homer’s favourite, called ‘On the Dark Side’ by John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band, better known as the voice of Eddie and the Cruisers, and masterfully sequenced by Matt Farthing who I can no longer find and he never returns my calls, haha, so I’m gonna claim the royalties from every time this is played until Matt calls or John Cafferty sues me…I mean, Homer.

To hear more, check out the gig guide and come see me at a gig!! See you there. (and by the way, the third person thing was so I could put the name Homer in there more often so Google will find me, sneaky huh?)
