Ryan- Yo, how’s it going? This is Ryan, Bamboozlefest. And why don’t you guys introduce yourself

All Time Low-

Alex- What’s up? I’m Alex
Jack- And I’m Jack from All Time Low

Ryan- Nice, so how was the show today? You guys performed a little earlier, how did that go for you?

All Time Low: Alex- It was amazing. Um, the crowd response was incredible. Uh, we played right after Red Jumpsuit. So there was kind of like a rush from mainstage to the Epitaph stage where we played. Uh, really like ,we were blown away by the response. It was a lot of fun.

Ryan- Nice, so talk about you know, what you go through when you perform, what you guys do before you get on the stage.

All Time Low: Jack- We’re nervous before we get on the stage for some reason. I don’t know why. We’re all like back there shaking behind the stage waiting. We’re all like, let’s let’s go-let’s go. I hate waiting-I hate waiting.

Ryan- Is this a large crowd, an abnormally large crowd for you guys to play in?

All Time Low:Alex- Um yeah, well we haven’t been doing this for too long on a national scale. We just uh, we just graduated from highschool this year so. This summer onwards has been the majority of our exposure to like the country. So uh thi definitely was a bigger show for us. The festivals are always a little nerve-racking just cause you know you’re often performing for people who would never usually see you so you’re trying to make a good impression.

All Time Low: Jack- There’s always like a bunch of bands watching you so you’re trying to impress everyone.

All Time Low: Alex- I was like fighting a cold at the same time to, so it was just the nerves were definitely going.

Ryan- So who are some bands that you guys are fans of that are here that you’re looking forward to seeing?

All Time Low: Jack- Definitely Jack’s Manequin.

All Time Low: Alex- Yes, for sure that’s gonna be cool. Uh.

All Time Low: Jack- Plus there’s a surprise after the show.

Ryan- Do you guys know what the surprise is?

All Time Low: Alex- We do, we do, but do they?

Ryan- Uh, well we’ll keep our mouths shut. Just in case. Um so you guys. You guys were talking about how you just graduated from highschool, when you got signed right out of highschool pretty much. What was that like?

All Time Low: Alex- Amazing. Perfect timing, um. I didn’t know what I really wanted to do with myself besides this so. You know, it all came together really well. And uh, I feel very lucky that it kind of…

All Time Low: Jack- We’re thinking, what would happen if we didn’t get signed cause we probably would be sitting at home right now playing video games.

Ryan- Ah, video games are cool. Dude what’s wrong with…

All Time Low: Alex- Now we get to tour the country and play music and play video games.

Ryan- Nice. Have you guys played Guitar Hero yet?

All Time Low: Alex- Dude, yes actually the tour we just came from with Amber Pacific, they had it on the bus. We shared a bus with them and I rocked that everyday. It was awesome. So fun.

Ryan- So you guys are on Hopeless records. Um, what’s if like you know, what are some on Hopeless records that you guys did too?

All Time Low: Alex- Um Thrice, and Avenge Sevenfold are definitely kind of like the bigger names that like stand out. And Amber Pacific, they actually introduced us to the label. Uh you know, now we’re touring with them so….

All Time Low: Jack- Maly too

All Time Low: Alex- Yeah, since then Maly has moved on but they were, are an awesome band. They played today - they were really good.

Ryan- So, um, TagWorld.com, you know it’s the site where artists can sign up or users can sign up and there’es thousands and thousand of them. And they’re all pretty much trying to do what you guys are doing. I mean, what’s some advice that you guys can give? For these people that are trying to get out there?

All Time Low: Jack- What we’ve learned is that meeting people and just hanging out with people and being places that you can be and just making connections. It’s all about making connections.

All Time Low: Alex- It’s like, you just have to expose yourself. You have to really tour as much as possible. Um, the biggest thing is just meet as many people as you can. Make as many friends,.. make enemies,…you know, whatever. As long as you get your name out there.

Ryan- Alright, so you guys wanna talk about, you know you guys recently released a new album, correct? Why don’t we talk about that.

All Time Low: Alex- Yeah, uh, our EP came out on Hopeless,…was it July or August

All Time Low: Jack- July

All Time Low: Alex- in July uh yeah. And it’s been incredible sellling really well. We didn’t know that many people knew who we were but it’s sold substantially better than we could imagine. So, it’s been an incredible experience. So, we’re really excited to do the full-length

Ryan- So you guys released a full length album in 2006 or 2005?

All Time Low: Alex- No, we uh. Yeah, we uh put out a full length independently in 2005, signed to Hopeless, then uh re-recorded some of the songs from that full lenght. Along with a couple new ones. Like, to expose it to like, a wider audience. Um, but this winter we’re going to be writing, uh the next full length, that will be on Hopeless. And we’re going to be recording with Matt Squire-April

Ryan- April…

All Time Low: Jack- Around, August/September release.

Ryan- Cool man
