Ted Flowers is as American as the Fourth of July! Ted Flowers was probably the most famous parade saddle maker in the United States. His “Spot Shop” was located in Alexandria, Indiana, where most of his work was done in the fifties and sixties.
This saddle as remained in the hands of the original owner for almost fifty years. It was a very special order, and believed to be one of just six Gold Plated Saddles that Ted Flowers ever produced. So now it was time to release this treasure to the equestrian world, because it deserves to be present in the next Rose Bowl Parade!
What better place to find a new home than on EBAY, The World’s Online Market Place. Because so many people will be interested in this find, the owners felt that they wanted everyone to have a fair chance at seeing this beautiful saddle and have an equal chance at owning it, just in time for Christmas! So it was decided not to sell it in a slick shinny catalog type auction that caters to the rich and famous, but cast the beautiful photos all over cyberspace for every rider that has ever been on a parade horse to enjoy.
The race for the new owner of this Historical Saddle will begin on November 4th and finish on November 11th. May the fastest bid win!
