Indiana University Top Award

-INDIANA UNIVERSITY ENTREPRENEURIAL AWARDS OF DISTINCTION HONORS COMPANY WITH SPIRIT AWARD-

INDIANAPOLIS – Unique Window and Door was honored by Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business on Oct. 19 for the company’s high standards and risk-taking strategies through industry challenges and obstacles.

At the second annual Indiana University Entrepreneurial Awards of Distinction program at the Indiana Roof Ballroom in Indianapolis, Unique Window and Door was selected the top business in the program’s Spirit award category.

Twenty-four companies from a pool of 68 finalists earned awards in four categories: Spirit, innovation, growth and social enterprise.

“Through hard work, determination and participation in an overall company plan to provide our products and services in professional, ethical, community-minded and innovative ways, we are honored to be acknowledged by Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business,” said Unique Window and Door president Robert Dillon. “Through all we do, I believe operating a business and conducting business should be done in the highest ethical manner possible.”

The Indiana University Entrepreneurial Awards of Distinction celebrates and showcases the tremendous achievements of Indiana’s entrepreneurial companies, said Donald F. Kuratko, executive director of the Johnson Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and the Jack M. Gill Chair of Entrepreneurship in the Kelley School of Business. “This is a unique opportunity to celebrate some of the true greatness that exists in Indiana by recognizing the hard work and tenacity that is evident in Unique Window and Door and our other, award-winning companies.”
