Sherri Blum, Interior Designer for Babies and Children Releases Her Premier Line of Children's Artwork.

Sherri Blum has always been the artistic type and loves putting her talents to use designing beautiful rooms for her clients. She coordinates paints, fabrics, furniture and accessories with ease and creates unique and wonderful rooms. She has a Bachelor's Degree from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, is a graduate of DTI, Decorator's Training Institute and is a Professional Member of Certified Interior Decorators International. Sherri's designs and advice have been featured in numerous publications including ePregnancy Magazine, Maryland Woman, Suburban Focus, Vermont Home Style, Families First and The Baltimore Sun. Sherri began her own design company, Bare Walls Design Co. in 2001 and has since opened Jack and Jill Interiors in 2003 which specializes in the design of children's rooms. She especially enjoys decorating children's spaces because she can interact with the child to discover his or her unique personality and express that personality through her room design. She also thoroughly enjoys painting whimsical designs, and decorating for children allows her more opportunity to put that talent to work in her murals. In early 2004 Sherri was asked to create a customized nursery mural for a client with a love of gardening. She created and several weeks later, copyrighted her Topiary Letter Design. Sherri had painted a sample mural for her client on a floor cloth canvas and realized that this "portable canvas mural" would make a wonderful and affordable substitute for a permanent wall mural. Several months later, Sherri had a complete line of 24" x 36" canvas wall hangings featuring her unique Topiary Letter Design and has since began offering a smaller stretched canvas version of many of her designs. Online boutiques across the country have begun featuring her artwork which promises to please even the most discriminating parents and children alike.
Sherri intends to come out with new lines each spring and fall, and will continue to impress families everywhere with new and whimsical designs for the enjoyment of all.
